The European Commission opened a call for evidence in relation to the EU LGBTIQ equality strategy for 2026-2030 (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/14551-EU-LGBTIQ-equality-strategy-for-2026-2030_en). This is “a new strategy to combat the inequalities experienced by LGBTIQ people. The initiative will build on the 2020-2025 LGBTIQ equality strategy and focus on hate-motivated harassment and violence and on banning conversion practices”. The NQIfFM project made this submission in reply to the call.
